Multicultural Weddings
Two Days. Two Venues. One Wedding Experience
Very few Wedding Venues in England can offer two completely separate, exclusively use Venues within one Private Estate. Orchardleigh Estate makes it possible to celebrate both your cultures, your families and your love story across two extraordinary days, without your guests ever having to leave the Estate
(Dining for up to 250 guests and accommodation for up to 165 guests)

Orchardleigh House
Begin your Wedding at Orchardleigh House, a magnificent Grade II* listed Victorian manor surrounded by a 500-acre parkland Estate in the Somerset countryside.
Day one is your English Wedding celebration. Exchange vows in our licensed civil ceremony rooms, where original stonework and natural lake views create a setting of genuine grandeur. Your guests will dine, dance and stay on site, with exclusive use of the entire house and grounds from the moment you arrive.
The Walled Garden
On your second day, the celebrations move to The Walled Garden, our contemporary Estate Venue set within its own beautiful grounds just minutes away. The centrepiece is The Walled Garden, an extraordinary outdoor and semi-covered event space that transforms completely for cultural celebrations of every kind.
The Walled Garden, Italian Garden and Orangery is designed to flex around your vision. Whether you are planning a Mehndi, a Nikah, a traditional West African ceremony, a vibrant South Asian reception with dhol drummers and live entertainment, or any celebration that calls for colour, movement and scale,
The Walled Garden provides the canvas for 250 seated and 500 standing.

Celebrating Every Tradition
Orchardleigh Estate warmly welcomes couples of all faiths and cultural backgrounds. Both venues can be dressed and arranged to accommodate a wide range of ceremonial traditions, including Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Jewish and Christian ceremonies, as well as bespoke celebrations that blend more than one tradition.
Whether you are planning a Mandap ceremony, a Nikah, an Anand Karaj or a multi-faith blessing, our team works closely with you, your officiant and your family to ensure every detail is handled with care and respect.
Neither venue imposes restrictions on decorators, priests, pandits or officiants, giving you the freedom to celebrate exactly as your culture and faith intend.
Cuisine
Food is at the heart of every cultural celebration, and at Orchardleigh Estate we work with specialist caterers and own in-house chefs to create menus that genuinely reflect your heritage and your guests.
From elaborate South Asian Wedding feasts and West African buffets to Middle Eastern mezze and fusion banquets that bring both families to the same table, there are no rigid menus here. Both venues are equipped to accommodate large-scale catering, live cooking stations, and the kind of food your family will still be talking about years later.
We are happy to discuss your catering requirements in detail during your viewing.

Accommodation
Orchardleigh House sleeps up to 95 guests across 41 beautifully appointed bedrooms, keeping your closest family and friends at the heart of the celebration.
Elmhay Village, a private collection of 12 Estate cottages, accommodates a further 70 guests in surroundings that are anything but ordinary.
Across the Estate, 175 guests can stay together
for the full Wedding celebration.
