A massive thankyou for everything you did to make mine and Ben’s wedding such a perfect day. A lot of people say that weddings are stressful, but I really never experienced that and that has to be put down to everything running so smoothly. Not only did all our guests comment on how beautiful Orchardleigh is, but also how brilliant all of the staff were. I really could not imagine a more perfect day!

We got married at Orchardleigh in the summer. What an amazing place for our 3 day wedding. We started at the castle on the day before, and we all gathered for a bbq in the garden. Such a lovely way to start off the weekend. This place is full of character with everything you need including a hot tub! The next day we had our wedding in the main house. The organisation was fantastic and the food was lovely. We stayed in the bonita suite with lovely views of the whole estate. The staff were so helpful and even helped with my dress. The evening didn’t stop at 12, it felt like our own house for the day. We had fireworks and dancing till the early hours. The last day we stayed at the boat house, a lovely way to start our married life. Waking up to swans, ducks and all the wildlife on the lake. I cannot recommend this venue enough. My daughter has just got married at Orchardleigh on Easter Sunday 2022. It was a perfect day from start to finish. We had the 3 day package and it was well organised and timed to perfection. Half of our guests had flown in from Canada and the historical setting in the beautiful grounds with a room for the night was just the perfect English experience for them all. They were thrilled! Annamarie was our wedding coordinator and was absolutely on the ball from start to finish. She answered all our many emails and phone calls on the run up to the day, nothing was a problem. On the wedding day Annamarie was on hand making sure everything was in order and going to plan, even taking the veil away and steaming it for us. Everyone agreed this was a beautiful wedding even the sun came out!

We fell in love with Orchardleigh at first sight, and our wedding there was perfect. Carl and his team made sure the day went without a hitch. The organisation on the day went like clockwork and the Wedding Breakfast food was simply delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a more stunning backdrop... both the house and the grounds look as stunning in our wedding photos as they did on the day.

We're so glad we chose Orchardleigh House for our wedding on 16th March 2020 - everything was perfect. The day was even dry enough to have an outside ceremony, which was beautiful. We stayed in the castle the night before the wedding and the boat house afterwards, and thoroughly enjoyed all our time on the estate. Everyone we spoke to on the team was so friendly and helpful. Karl and Nicola went above and beyond to answer our questions and reassure a very anxious bride that everything was going to plan, even with the coronavirus starting to have an impact on things by that point. We wholeheartedly recommend them to all engaged couples looking for the perfect venue.

We had such a magical day, everything was perfect! Both Heather and Chris are lovely people and helped ensure the day ran just as we wanted. Heather bought some champagne up for me and my bridal party in the morning and kept checking in on us both though out the day. Always so quick to respond and helpful in the run up. We love them! The venue itself is gorgeous, and the stay the night before and after make it! We will forever be grateful to them and their staff for making our dreams come true.

We started looking for venues in the middle of lockdown 2021, Orchardleigh being the closest to us, was the first (and then only!) place we viewed. We were swept off of our feet from the word go. We initially had a very informative video call and your and were so excited when we finally got to visit in person. We felt special and welcome from the word go, nothing was too much trouble for Karl, Heather and the team at Orchardleigh! We never thought we would be able to afford to get married there, but looking at their pricing, just couldn’t believe how reasonable the prices price points were for what they were offering. Once booked we were invited to a tasting session at Elmhay, which was a lovely afternoon and ran faultlessley! We wanted much more of the food, and it was a real help in finalising our menu. A lovely added touch that all of the produce is locally sourced. Again we felt very welcome and like true guests even though they must see thousands of happy couples each year! All of our guests thoroughly enjoyed our wedding breakfast and were asking for more! Again no dietary requirements was too much for the team to cater to, and the service on the day was 5*. Everything felt so relaxed and no stress. We were so lucky with the weather for our wedding, but it was honestly, the most wonderful few days I have ever had. It was so nice to have the three day package, staying at the castle with my bridesmaids, and the men staying at Murtry lodge, the castle is such a beautiful setting, fully equipped with everything you could need for a perfect relaxing night before your wedding. From the moment I arrived at the house for the wedding, the team made sure I had everything I wanted/needed (a fan as it was warm!) and lovely touches of complementary bubbly in the absolutely stunning bridal suite whilst getting ready. The house and grounds of Orchardleigh are so beautiful, I almost decided against any decor! But Karl and Heather were great at advising how to really make the most of the setting. The ceremony and service ran seamlessly, and our guests had free run of the amazing house and grounds through until the early hours of the morning. Feedback from all of our guests is that they wish they could have stayed longer to see more of the amazing house and grounds and take it all in! As a bride, what will remain with me is that Chris and and Heather truly made us feel like Orchardleigh was our home for the day/night. We stayed up with our guests until dawn and were greeted with a much needed full spread of breakfast the next morning in the beautiful south facing dining hall. As part of the three day package, we then collected the keys to the stunning little boathouse overlooking the lake of the estate, which was so relaxing and so nice not to have to go straight home the next morning. Again the boathouse was equipped with everything and anything you could possibly need or want, and the most secluded romantic spot away from the hustle and bustle, the perfect chance to stop and reminisce on your wedding the day before heading back to normal life. One of my biggest worries as a bride getting married at somewhere that specialises in hosting weddings, was just feeling like another number, and I can wholeheartedly say that that is not the case with Orchardleigh at all. Three weeks later and all family and friends are still raving about how wonderful the whole event was and how impressed they are, and many saying it was the best wedding they have ever been to.
