It was hands down the best decision booking Orchardleigh for our Wedding day. We are lost for words at how wonderful and magical our day was.
Our Wedding coordinator, Rachel, was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted, from checking on me and the bridesmaids in the morning to keeping guests happy throughout the day.
Nothing was too much trouble for her, and our guests noticed it too.
The venue itself was stunning, with beautiful grounds for canapes and drinks outside, and gorgeous four poster rooms inside. The food was delicious, and everyone commented on how good it was given the number of guests.
The whole day ran seamlessly thanks to the incredible team. It was honestly one of the best days of our lives.

We got married at Orchardleigh in the summer.
What an amazing place for our 3 day wedding. We started at the castle on the day before, and we all gathered for a bbq in the garden. Such a lovely way to start off the weekend. This place is full of character with everything you need
including a hot tub!
The next day we had our wedding in the main house. The organisation was fantastic and the food was lovely. We stayed in the bonita suite with lovely views of the whole estate. The staff were so helpful and even helped with my dress.
The evening didn’t stop at 12, it felt like our own house for the day. We had fireworks and dancing till the early hours. The last day we stayed at the boat house, a lovely way to start our married life. Waking up to swans, ducks and all the wildlife on the lake.
I cannot recommend this venue enough.

My daughter has just got married at Orchardleigh on Easter Sunday.
It was a perfect day from start to finish. We had the 3 day package and it was well organised and timed to perfection. Half of our guests had flown in from Canada and the historical setting in the beautiful grounds with a room for the night was just the perfect English experience for them all. They were thrilled!
Annamarie was our wedding coordinator and was absolutely on the ball from start to finish. She answered all our many emails and phone calls on the run up to the day, nothing was a problem.
On the wedding day Annamarie was on hand making sure everything was in order and going to plan, even taking the veil away and steaming it for us.
Everyone agreed this was a beautiful wedding even the sun came out!
We wanted to share just how incredible our experience was at Orchardleigh & Elmhay Park.
From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect, and that is largely down to the hard work, dedication, and professionalism of the entire team. Every detail was taken care of and the whole day ran seamlessly, which meant we were able to relax and truly enjoy every moment with our family and friends. It genuinely felt like everything just fell into place — a real testament to all the care and effort happening behind the scenes.
The team are a real credit to Chris and Heather. Throughout the planning process and on the day itself, the level of care, attention, and genuine enthusiasm did not go unnoticed. We felt completely looked after from beginning to end, which made such a difference.
We would also like to give a special mention to Jordan and Barney from the bar team, who went above and beyond all day. Their friendly attitude and willingness to help stood out, and many of our guests commented on how fantastic they were (even if we did manage to drink the bar dry!).
It’s honestly difficult to put into words just how grateful we are. The day exceeded all of our expectations and gave us memories we will cherish forever.
We would not hesitate for a second to recommend Orchardleigh & Elmhay Park to anyone looking for a truly exceptional wedding venue.

We were surrounded by so much love and joy on our Wedding Day, and genuinely had the best time of our lives - Orchardleigh House was the perfect backdrop for it too. We want to extend massive thank you to the fantastic team at Orchardleigh, as well as our incredible Wedding Coordinator, Annamarie.
Annamarie was just the best right from the get-go; from answering our numerous questions throughout the planning process to making the big day run seamlessly. Her experience, suggestions & flexibility were integral to our uniquely special Indian-English fusion celebration and we are so so grateful to have had her as our coordinator!
The House staff were also great in ensuring things ran smoothly and that guests felt welcomed and happy. And importantly, all of the food (from the sit down meal to the evening buffet) was absolutely delcious, so compliments to the chef! A note to say don't sleep on the vegetarian/vegan options - they were so flavourful and we'd highly recommend!
We went for the 3-day Bonita package which we found to be great value and was the perfect fit for us. Getting to stay on-site the night before removed the stress of travelling on the day of, being able to party into the early hours of the morning with no curfew was brilliant (and well utilised by us and our guests!), and spending the day/night after the wedding at the Boathouse was the perfect way to round off our celebrations - it was so picturesque!
We're so glad we chose Orchardleigh House for our wedding on 16th March - everything was perfect.
The day was even dry enough to have an outside ceremony, which was beautiful. We stayed in the castle the night before the wedding and the boat house afterwards, and thoroughly enjoyed all our time on the estate.
Everyone we spoke to on the team was so friendly and helpful. Karl and Nicola went above and beyond to answer our questions and reassure a very anxious bride that everything was going to plan, even with the coronavirus starting to have an impact on things by that point.
We wholeheartedly recommend them to all engaged couples looking for the perfect venue.
Our daughter and now son in law chose to have their wedding at Orchardleigh and what a wedding it was in fact I would say it was beyond belief.
The team at Ochardleigh headed up by Racheal where outstanding throughout the 3 day wedding event. From the firework display to the best cooked chicken breakfast and Chris the owner driving us to the church in the 1930's Rolls Royce all served up with a smile and total enjoyment was had by all who attended the event.
Without hesitation I would highly recommend Orchardleigh as one of the best wedding venues in the South.

We had such a magical day, everything was perfect!
Both Heather and Chris are lovely people and helped ensure the day ran just as we wanted. Heather bought some champagne up for me and my bridal party in the morning and kept checking in on us both though out the day.
Always so quick to respond and helpful in the run up. We love them!
The venue itself is gorgeous, and the stay the night before and after make it!
