Orchardleigh Estate offers a great variety of areas licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies, both inside and out.
The Belvedere
This Traditional Outdoor Ceremony Area can seat up to 130 Guests.
The Belvedere is a magical transformed space that was originally the Orangery of Orchardleigh House. With the open-air style, you can embrace the indoor/outdoor feel with spectacular views across the Estate and Lawns.
Lake View
This Breathtaking Outdoor Ceremony Area is one of our largest and can seat up to 150 guests.
As the name suggests, this stunning space offers the most beautiful views across the 23 acre lake, the rolling hills of Estate and beyond.
Make your entrance from the Grand Front Steps of the House and enjoy the stunning Garden Path Aisle to your Wedding.
The Ballroom
Elegant architecture coupled with the most beautiful unspoilt views across the Estate. The Ballroom offers a stunning space to say your vows.
Seating up to 100 guests, you will say 'I do' in front of the large ornate windows with the sweeping hills of the Estate as your backdrop.
The Woodland
This Secluded Outdoor Ceremony Area offers a peaceful Woodland Setting with the tall trees providing a striking backdrop.
Hidden within a clearing in the trees, just a stones throw from the House, you will say your vows surrounded by the Majesty of Nature. You may even have a few extra guests watching from their perches in the trees as you say 'I do'!
The Belvedere Lawn
Enjoy the best of both worlds, with our Belvedere Lawn Ceremony. You and your Guests can enjoy the wonderful views across the Gardens and Estate, whilst looking up at the splendour of Orchardleigh House.
Say 'I Do' in full view of all of your guests at the top of the Belvedere Steps, after a magical woodland entrance.
The Great Hall
The Great Hall is the largest of our Indoor Ceremony Areas, with a capacity of up to 150 guests.
The Grand Stair Case sweeps down directly into the Great Hall providing a fairytale entrance to begin your walk down the long aisle.
Complete with large open fires, The Great Hall is a wonderful choice for cosy Winter weddings.
The Italian Garden
Perfect all year round, The Italian Garden is a magical setting for your ceremony. A tranquil veranda at the bottom of the Italian garden, it has space for up to 250, atmospheric lighting and real olive trees, to set the perfect scene for your special day.
The Fountain
Enjoy the stunning surroundings of The Walled Garden with this breathtaking outdoor ceremony set up. With the Fountain as your back drop, you and your guests will be truly wowed by this magnificent setting
The Bandstand
Another beautiful ceremony setting making use of the stunning lawns of The Walled Garden, with a slightly more intimate feel. The Bandstand is a lovely centre point for your ceremony, with a stunning skyline of magnificent trees completing this beautiful setting.
